The Cromwell

A traditional looking bed designed with practicality and budget in mind.  A single bed supported by four highly polished teak skittle legs, ideally suited for hoists and over-bed tables, giving and ample clearance of 6.5 ft.

The bed is manufactured using birch hardwood supporting frames and corner gussets, which give a strong but basic design.

This highly sought after, classy bed is designed with the less able, disabled in mind.  It has a double arch design on each side allowing easy hoist and over-bed table access.  This bed comes complete with a luxury padded surround, decorative cording, and is finished off with a stylish footboard.  The Richmond boasts comfort, quality and luxury.  Complemented by our quality upholstery and your choice of mattress.

This is a bed lifter which attaches to the surround of the bed.  It lifts the complete bed surround, mechanism and mattress vertically. It is built to a high standard and finished in a white powder coat to aid cleaning. There are 4 lockable castors attached for ease of movement and to ensure that the 5" gap for hoist insertion is available.  Gas springs are fitted to assist in weight load and to give support to a smooth movement of the actuator during raising/lowering of the bed.  OKIN actuators are fitted along with an in-line transformer that has been fitted with a mains isolating plug.  This ensures that power is only supplied when the handset is activated for movement of the VBL.  An emergency recovery pack is also fitted.

These headboards can be fitted to Cromwell, Richmond or Windsor Beds

Vertical Bed Lifter Mechanism

The Ascot is a luxury modern looking bed with a fully upholstered surround.  Its head and foot ends do away with the need for separate head and foot boards.

This is a bed lifter which is incorporated into the bed surround with the profiling action.  It lifts the profiling mechanism and the mattress only, leaving the surround on the floor.  It is available in 2'6" and 3'0" options, so it is ideal for single beds or 5ft and 6ft duals where couples wish to retain their closeness without losing the practicality of a care-bed.

5 Motor Massage

The Relaxor 5 massage system has 5 motors that are integrated equally within the mattress (foam ONLY)

10 Motor Massage

The Relaxor 10 massage system has 10 motors that are integrated equally within the mattress in 5 zones, which equates to 2 motors per zone, giving a more powerful massage (foam ONLY).  10 motor systems are usually used in 4'6", 5ft, and 6ft mattresses.

Drawer Divans

Drawers can be added to the Windsor Divan bed only.  They can be situated at the end of the bed, or at the side.

Cot Sides

These are trombone chrome plated steel side rails, which contain the patient/client safely within the bed area.

Length Alteration

All beds have the option of being shortened or lengthened.  The following internal sizes are available:  5'8", 6'0", 6'6" (standard length), 6'9", 7'0"

Height Alteration

All beds have the option of the total height being raised or lowered, within the range 16" to 30" from floor to top of mattress.  (standard height 22")

Link Twin Option

Available on all beds with 2 single beds being linked together to form a dual.  Enables the bed to be separated at a later date if required.  The inner side panels of the beds are upholstered using Dacron to allow the beds to be pushed closer together

Mattress Protection Covers

Available as fitted sheets or as permanent waterproof covers.  Sizes from 2'3" to 6ft

Slide Back

This slides the whole action back towards the wall like a wall-hugger mechanism and is only available in a 3ft option.
