Traditional dining trolleys are fine when you are able to use them without having to rely on them for support. Many clients, however, rely on a zimmer frame for mobility, and find it impossible to move food, crockery and cutlery from the kitchen to the dining area. These specialist trolleys combine the support of a zimmer frame with the load carrying capacity of a traditional trolley, allowing the user to remain independent.
Model 5635/5635PT
These two models share a common frame. The standard model is fitted with laminated wooden shelves, while the PT model has removable plastic trays.
Model 5640
This is similar in specification to the
5635PT, above, but has an angled design which makes it easier to nest
together, and therefore more suitable for the care home environment, where
several may be stored in a smaller area, or for domestic use where space is at
a premium.
