The Oxford Mini 140 and Stowaway 140 folding
hoist have been developed especially with the domestic care environment and
patient in mind. These compact but highly durable lifters offer superb
manoevrability round the confines of both domestic and nursing settings.

The Oxford Standaid 140 (140
kgs SWL) has a revolutionary patented
design that enables patients to be quickly and efficiently transferred.
Unlike conventional passive sling lifters, the Standaid requires the patient to participate with the lift/transfer which clearly encourages the patient to remain active for as long as possible. The Standaid hoist easily transfers patients from bed to chair or from chair to commode in a fraction of the time required for a conventional sling lifter. It is also a very useful rehabilitation tool. The Standaid also provides an extremely secure and comfortable lift for those patients who have the upper body strength to participate. Presence
Presence" a lifting device that is competent enough to handle almost any patient-handling task. It is an all-round performer that gives you more than you expect!

Whether from the floor or onto a high surface,
the Presence has an astonishing range of movement.
The minimum height with the six-point spreader bar is just 440mm, which ensures excellent off the floor transfers.
Conversely, if you wish to access high beds or
nursing surfaces, the Presence will lift up to 1910mm.
This is especially useful where you have variable height beds, special lift mattresses and other high surfaces.
Interchangeable Spreader Bar/Cradle
One of the
restrictions of using certain lifts is the slings which you can use on the
product. The Presence, however gives you a choice of sling systems.
You can either use the conventional (A) six-point Oxford spreader bar or the newly developed (B) four-point positioning cradle. This choice provides the carer with a greater option of slings to use when considering support, comfort and flexibility for the patient.
Portable Telescopic Bathing Hoist New Product
A simple, portable, and compact solution to moving patients from a wheelchair into a shower, bath, or onto the toilet. Equally useful for transferring from bed to chair or wheelchair.
The telescopic post stands on a solid floor plate and a similar plate is jacked up against the ceiling, both to help spread the load, and to prevent lateral movement. Note. Only suitable for concrete ceilings or where the hoist is braced under a strong ceiling joist. A full risk assessment must be carried out before installing the hoist to ensure that the ceiling and floor are strong enough to support the load.
The arise is specifically designed for quick, simple and safe transfers. Unlike using conventional passive lifting devices, the Arise gives support by using a range of active slings. This encourages the patient to participate during the lifting process.
The active style of transfer is proven to keep patients partially lift-bearing for longer. Slings are simple to fit, and provide excellent access and support for the following tasks.

Removable Foot Tray
Removing the foot tray transforms the Arise into a walking aid which can facilitate rehabilitation and training. With the foot tray removed, you can fully raise a patient to the standing position. You can then remove the arise, allowing the patient to walk.
The Arise is packed with useful features such as: Adjustable Knee Pad The knee pad is adjustable by 6" for added flexibility. This ensures the patient feels comfortable and fully supported during the lifting process. The pad is moulded for additional support and there is a leg restraint for patients needing additional reassurance. This ingenious design takes up the least possible space and is particularly valuable in areas where normal portable hoists cannot be moved around.
