Luxury Pocket Sprung

These mattresses are of superb quality, designed with flex points built in to match the beds, while retaining strength, comfort, and long life.  They incorporate fully clipped pocketed springs, and are made of multiple layers of cashmere hair, flex bond, wool and coil fibre.  Covers are a cream tufted damask fabric complete with handles for ease of turning.

Latex Foam

Latex Mattresses are available as a full latex mattress, or a mixture of latex and reflex foam to suit the individual.  They are covered in our standard range of cream tufted Damask fabric or a soft quilted Comfort Posture fabric

Reflex Foam

The Reflex mattress system has been designed specially for adjustable beds.  Whatever position it is in, the unique revolutionary mattress profile provides responsive support and exceptional comfort by gently cradling the body for maximum relaxation.

Unlike traditional mattress systems, Reflex is specially constructed of individual comfort cells which react totally independently of each other.  Each comfort cell responds exactly and faithfully to the sleeper's weight and body movement, providing superior and consistent support no matter how small or how big that body is.

Restful, relaxed and comfortable sleep is vital for good health of body and mind - and yet many thousands of people suffer discomfort and a disturbed night's sleep.  That's because they are sleeping on a worn out mattress that no longer offers correct support and does not distribute the pressure of the sleeper evenly over the surface of the mattress.  Pressure build-up over the prominent areas of the body can then encourage a whole range of ailments, from joint and back pain to pressure marks and other discomfort.

However, we are proud to introduce the revolutionary Multizone Reflexion Mattress system, which is designed to reduce pressure, and provide the ideal restful environment.

Completely reversible, the Reflex mattress system meets the most stringent flammability regulations, never falls below its registered weight, and when in the sitting position, the ingenious design provides a firmer seat.  (Especially welcome when reading or watching TV).  The unique channelling of the comfort cells ensures excellent airflow through the mattress, which results in better built-in breathing.

Reflex mattresses are 6"(15cm) thick and come in 4 grades of firmness to suit all weights of sleepers.

Multizone Reflexion Mattress

These mattresses are specially designed for the adjustable bed, and offer greatly improved comfort and pressure reduction compared with standard mattresses.  The Reflex Foam Mattress is available in different degrees of firmness dependant upon the client's weight.  The Reflexion is made up of two distinct layers, with a layer of Vasco 60 next to the body.  This is energy absorbing and temperature sensitive, allowing the mattress to mould to the body.

The secret of Multizone Reflexion mattresses is in the layering, which carry out different but equally important functions.  The upper layer is made from Vasco 60, the Visco-Elastic Cellular Polymer, which has the desirable qualities of being both energy absorbing and temperature sensitive.  This high density material responds to natural body heat and forms to the body's shape, creating a reflexion of the body contours.  No matter what the body weight, the Vasco spreads the sleeper's weight so that when equilibrium is achieved, the sleeper is subject to the least possible pressure.

Below, you will see two "pressure maps", showing the pressure exerted by the human body lying on a standard hospital mattress, and on the Multizone Reflexion system.  These tests have both been carried out using the same terry towelling cover to achieve a true comparison.  The lightest pressure is shown in blue, and the highest in red.  As the colour changes from blue to red, then more pressure is being exerted on the body.

 

This standard hospital mattress shows areas of  higher pressure, which can cause aches, pains and other problems to other areas of the body affected.

The Multizone Reflexion exerts far less pressure on concentrated areas of the body, and the pressure is spread far more evenly over the surface, and over the sleeper's body.

Flexible on upper and lower surfaces, the Multizone Reflexion offers total comfort in all positions.  Fully upright it provides support for reading or watching TV.  Inclined or flat, it encourages peaceful restful sleep.
