1st Call Mobility were one of the first companies in the country to specialize in the sale and hire of Bariatric Products and has grown over the years to have the largest range of Bariatric Products available in the UK. Between them, the Directors have over 45 years’ experience in the Bariatric business, and all our staff undergo extensive training.
Our reputation for service delivery and our extensive product range means that we are widely acknowledged by leading NHS professionals as their first choice Bariatric Specialist.
In order to satisfy the rigorous demands of the NHS, we have sourced products from around the world, identifying the very best bariatric products from many specialist manufacturers. Most of these are only available through 1st Call Mobility.
Where we have found a gap in the market, or you, our clients have identified a need that is not being fulfilled, we have designed and manufactured a suitable product. These include what are now some of the most sought after bariatric products in the marketplace.
Our highly trained staff work closely with Health Care Professionals to ensure that the selected product is able to satisfy the needs of the client, however we are fully aware of the financial pressures within the NHS and will always strive to give you best value-for-money.
June 2010 saw the opening of our bariatric centre and head office in Harlow. This 20,000 square feet complex with a 2 storey extension is dedicated to our wide range of bariatric products. Baros House is the only bariatrics centre in the country to combine a dedicated showroom, warehouse, decontamination suite, training room and administration support. Since 2010 we have opened an additional 5 depots in Doncaster, Carlisle, Bristol, Stafford and Fareham in order to support our 4 hour delivery guarantee*.
Our principal customers include NHS Hospitals, Private Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Care Homes, Social Services, Hotels and to a lesser degree the general public.
Our philosophy is to achieve a seamless interaction with you, our clients. This is why we offer a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week service, 365 days a year
We have our own fleet of 27 especially adapted delivery vehicles and our staff will not just deliver the product, but will give any necessary equipment training, and even remain to provide support during patient transfer if required.
